Tracie (Logar) Schmidt is a graduate of McDonald High School, in McDonald, Ohio. She graduated summa cum laude from Kent State University where she obtained her Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Management. She then went on to obtain her juris doctor from the University of Toledo College of Law.

Tracie served as a law clerk for Friedman & Rummell Co., L.P.A. after her second year of law school. After becoming licensed to practice in Ohio, she then joined the firm as an associate in 2007 and is now a partner with the firm. She practices primarily in the areas of Probate, Estate Planning, Business, Employment and General Civil Litigation. Tracie is also an agent for Metro Land Title Agency, the affiliated title company of Friedman & Rummell Co., L.P.A.

She is the past President of the Mahoning County Bar Association for which she served during the 2017-2018 year. She also serves on the Social Committee, Estate Planning and Taxation Committee, and the Law Day Committee. Tracie is also a member of the Mahoning-Shenango Valley Estate Planning Council, of which she is a Past President and past board member, and is a Past President (2015) of the Mahoning-Shenango Planned Giving Council. She is an active member of the Youngstown Business and Professional Women's organization for which she served as President from 2013-2014.

Tracie was also selected as a Rising Star in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 for the Ohio and Kentucky Super Lawyers Magazine, a selection earned by peer nominations. She is also a VA Accredited attorney and assists veterans and their families with available benefits.

Tracie currently serves as a member of the Board of Trustees for Meridian Community Care, a drug and alcohol counseling center. She has also been very active in fastpitch softball. She has served as an assistant coach at Ursuline High School. She and her husband, Chris, reside in Canfield, Ohio, with their two children, Kaitlyn and Andrew.
